ANNUAL RANGE FEES
range fees are annual starting the calendar year in January and are 20.00 per person, per year. The fee also includes the use of the archery range and pistol range.

BSSA TURKEY SHOOT
The Annual turkey shoot will be held on
NOVEMBER 21, 2026 This event has always been a fun event and has been a tradition for the last 50 years. There will also be pistol shooting competitions to win a turkey on that day as well. And of course the famous pot luck lunch. We are sure hoping that Denny will bring his famous green chili stew for us to enjoy. We hope to see all on November 21st.

THE NEXT TRAP ATA SHOOTING EVENT HOSTED BY BSSA WILL BE ON;
September 5 and 6,The Belen Annual trap shoot. Events will include the MID RIO GRANDE SINGLES, HANDICAP, AND DOUBLES CHAMPIONSHIPS. Lunch will be provided for all participants and volunteers. The New Mexico State trap shooting association will be having their meeting on Saturday September 5th after the final shooting event of the day.

My name is Dalli Cain, and I am from Mountainair, NM. I am currently a sophomore at New Mexico State University. I am majoring in biochemistry and plan to go to medical school to be an anesthesiologist.
I started shooting trap and light rifle in 8th grade, and I fell in love with it. I enjoyed it because of the people I met and how helpful everyone was. No matter where I turned, there was always someone willing to support me. It also didn’t hurt that I was pretty good at it.
Shooting can open many doors, there are tons of shooting organizations out there. I have won many buckles and saddles throughout my shooting career. My accomplishments include:

My advice to women or girls who want to start shooting is to not be intimidated by those who know more than you. I know so many girls who are better than the guys, and they started out not knowing anything about the sport. When I first started, I was terrified, but I stepped out of my comfort zone and found a new passion! Don’t be afraid to try something new.Hello World!
